Audio-only

If you want to include audio-only Clips in your WebTV you have two options:

1. With your favorite video editing program.
Create a movie with the audio/sound you want and, for the video track, use a black video (or an image); export your movie as AVI or Quicktime with the highest possible quality and then compress/encode the file to H.264 or FLV following any of our video compression tutorials.
NOTE: Some video editing programs allow direct export to FLV or H.264, if this is your case, check out the following tutorial as a reference.

2. Directly through Quicktime Pro.
Open the audio file with QuickTime Player and export it as a movie, you will only be able to adjust the audio compression settings, we recommend to use the following:
Sound, Format: AAC
Sound, Sample rate: 32.000 kHz
Sound, Channels: Stereo (L R)
Sound, Bit rate: 128Kbps

Photos, etc.

In order to include photos or slideshows in your WebTV, the procedure is to create a movie, either with your favorite video editing program or through a slideshow creation one and then export the result as a video file; then compress the resulting file to H.264 or FLV following any of our video compression tutorials.

Example: You can use WindowsMovieMaker to make a movie from a selection of images, save the result with the option "save to my computer" and export the video as DV AVI (Pal or NTSC); then compress the resulting file to H.264 or FLV following any of our video compression tutorials.
